Cybercafe Referral Program & Newbie Code Guide (For Malaysia ONLY)

Player who have a PlayID or a Facebook ID will be able to login to the game as usual.

1) Any player who has a Cybercafe Referral Code can fill in the Cybercafe Referral Code (R2041) field, 

and continue by pressing the “Submit” button.

2) Players who don’t have the Cybercafes Referral Code can press the “Skip” button, to continue into the game.

Please Note for (2): 

The “SKIP” button will show the countdown number such as:

- [Skip (2)] >>Means the player is still allowed to skip 2 more times

- [Skip (1)] >> Means the player is still allowed to skip 1 more time

- [Skip (0)] >> Means that once the player has skipped this, they won’t have any more chances to fill in a Cybercafe Referral Code

After players have filled in a valid Cybercafe Referral Code, the system will display a message to inform players that they 

have successfully redeemed the RO2 Newbie Code. 

The message will read:

“Congratulations! You have successfully redeemed your RO2 Newbie Code.”

If the player has previously redeemed a RO2 Newbie code, an error message will prompt the payer to inform them 

that he or she will not be able to another redeem RO2 Newbie Code. The message will be: “Your account is not 

entitled to redeem the RO2 Newbie Code, as it was previously redeemed.”

After successful redemption of the RO2 Newbie Code, players can proceed with character creation/character 

selection before entering the game. After logging into the game with the character, please kindly take note of 

the bottom right corner of in-game UI. There will be a blinking Temporary Box Storage Icon. To redeem and use 

the gift items, players need to click on the icon as shown in image above. 

Upon clicking the icon, the temporary bag UI will appear.

If the gift icon does not appear on bottom right corner of part of in-game UI. 

Please kindly click on the "Menu" button at bottom left corner (as shown in image below). 

A small UI will appear, and players just need to right-click on the Temporary Box Storage. 

The temporary bag UI will then appear.

This is the Temporary Box UI where player will be able to find their gifts. 

The image above shows the RO2 Newbie Package. Players can click on “Receive” for each item 

and it will be delivered into the players’ character inventory.

For players who have redeemed the Newbie Code, they can click on the “Request Newbie Code”button 

again and the system will show players their redemption log with the date and time of their redemption.

Terms and Conditions:

- Every player is allow to redeem RO2 Newbie Code once only.

- This card and its containing value are non-transferable to cash.

- Lost or damaged cards are non-replaceable.

- This card can only be used to play Ragnarok Online 2.

- This card will expire on 31st March 2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT).
